This is an introductory class for those who wish to create their own stamps for decorating fabric. Each student will design several stamps, carve the stamps by hand, then use the carved stamps to decorate their own fabric pieces. Your stamped pieces can be incorporated into sewing projects and the skills acquired used to decorate existing fabric pieces such as clothing and curtains.

Total class time: 1 hour, 30 minutes

Cost: $15.00 plus Kit Fee $20.00 ***

Explore the art of manipulating fabric with paints, glues, inks, markers, pens, color pencils. Start with a pre-made fabric or create your own fabric from scratch.

This class will teach you the basics of quilting. Class will meet for 4 evenings, 2½ hours per night.

This class will teach you more advanced blocks and techniques. Class will meet for 6 evenings, 2½ hours per night.

Learn how to paper piecing while making this beautiful star. You will spend more time picking out the fabric than you do learning the technique.

This class will teach the basic of machine quilting. Different tools and techniques will be shown and available for your use. 

•      1st 2 hours - walking foot/dual feed foot.
•      last 2 hours - free motion quilting (feed dogs will be lowered)

This class is for those of you who want to learn how to sew. I like to start with a simple tote bag or straight skirt. But this can be changed based on your likes and needs.

Supplies will vary depending on project.

Class fee: $20.00 per 2 hour class

This class will teach you all the tips and tricks you need for Machine Applique. How to manipulate the stitches, start and stopping, thread weights and much more. Bring a pattern of your choice. Simple is best to start with. We will be using the fusible applique method. So remember your fusible webbing. If you don't have a pattern, ask us for a recommendation.

Learn to make a skirt that fits, no pouching waistline, tight around the hips or the wrong length. We will take your measurments and draft a simple classic skirt that fits your figure. Learn  about waistbands, elastic waists, why you should add darts and more.

Class time: 2 nights 2 hours each night

Custom pillows are the perfect way to change the decor in your house. This class will teach you how to make envelope pillow backs, flanges or cording for any pillow size or shape.
